LAGUERRE Nicolas, Claude (b. Bar-le-Duc April 10, 1811 - d. March 5, 1848), Rare 1-vol. oblong collection of 10 lithographs of views of Bar-Le-Duc and the surrounding area, circa 1840. Nicolas LAGUERRE took over his father's patent as a letter printer and obtained a lithographer's patent by creation. To distinguish himself from his father and his brother (?) Alexandre, who called himself a bookseller-publisher and for whom he worked, notably printing school textbooks, he used the name Imprimerie typographique et lithographique Laguerre-Nève aîné, adding his wife's name to his own.
